Verdant Partners Strengthens Commitment to Fresh Produce
Champaign, IL – Verdant Partners LLC is pleased to announce that Gustavo Yentzen, President of Yentzen Consulting of Santiago, Chile, has joined Verdant as an Advisor effective immediately. Yentzen has been involved in the produce and food industry for more than 15 years at the consulting and marketing level.
Business brokerage firm Verdant Partners was founded in 1998 and has been focused exclusively on the global crop agribusiness industry including mergers and acquisition services in the vegetable seed and fresh produce sectors. The addition of Yentzen brings additional expertise and commitment to the fresh produce piece of the business, as well as focus to the South American market.

A resident of Santiago Chile, Yentzen is a graduate of Business Administration (MBA) of the Adolfo Ibañez University. Prior to founding Yentzen Consulting, a leading international sales and marketing consulting firm, he held marketing roles with leading companies where he stood out for his strong performance.
In 2008, he launched Portalfruticola.com, a trade industry web portal that features relevant news about the global horticultural industry and serves an indispensable tool for Spanish-speaking growers and exporters. In 2010 he launched Freshfruitportal.com, the first English-language site dedicated to covering the produce industry from a Southern Hemisphere point of view. In 2013 he launched Chinafruitportal.com the first mandarin written website aimed to provide information to the Chinese produce industry.
