Ms. Witmer joined Verdant Partners in 2026 as an Intern while attending University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for Finance and Accountancy.

Prior to starting at Verdant, Emma joined Pathlit, a technology startup, where she utilized AI automation capabilities to assist with financial modeling and due diligence. She also worked for a private equity firm, where she gained experience with deal scouring.

Outside of school and work, Emma is also part of the University of Illinois’s Investment Management Academy, Beta Alpha Psi Professional Business Fraternity, and enjoys staying active.
