Mr. Grepl is a senior executive with over 35 years of experience in the agricultural market with a proven ability to develop and operationalize strategies while improving business profitability.  He is passionate about simplifying the complexity of business challenges, identifying needed synergies while focusing on the right priorities.

 

Mr. Grepl started his professional career in a large cooperative farm after graduating from Mendel’s University in the Czech Republic.  In the early 1990’s, he joined Monsanto in Central Europe where he held various leadership positions managing the company's Crop Protection and Seed business units.  In 2007 he moved to Syngenta to drive its seed business growth in Central and Eastern Europe, thereafter leading Syngenta’s combined Crop Protection and Seeds business in southeast Europe from 2011 to 2018.

Since departing Syngenta, Mr. Grepl has successfully operated his own agricultural consultancy business, advising decision-makers with various insights including the successful initiation of post-merger integrations, business transformations with innovative go-to-market strategies, and organizational realignments and processes to achieve the appropriate operational excellence.  Mr. Grepl is fluent in English, German and Czech, and basic in Russian.
