• For KWS, the transaction paves the way for further execution of its strategy for profitable growth by strengthening leadership positions in field crops, building a strong footprint in the vegetable seed market and advancing seed innovations

• For Vilmorin & Cie, the transaction enables further focus on its strategic priorities and to reinforce its other territories as it continues advancing on its Ambition 2030 roadmap

• In combination with GDM’s existing North American business, the integrated seed portfolio will deliver greater choice and value to the farmers across North America, making GDM the fourth-largest corn genetics provider worldwide
