Champaign, IL – Verdant Partners LLC today announced the addition of two interns to its Champaign, Illinois based professional team of client service representatives. Mr. Blake Croegaert and Mr. Martin O’Connor are set to join Verdant beginning October 6, 2014. Dean Cavey, Managing Partner, stated, “We are pleased to add these two gentlemen to our team of client service professionals. Both are outstanding young men who have a high level of interest in agriculture and who are pursuing degrees at the University of Illinois in agricultural finance and agricultural accounting.”
Blake Croegaert is from Geneseo, Illinois and is scheduled to graduate from the University of Illinois, College of Agriculture, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (“ACES”), with a degree in agricultural accounting, in May 2015. Mr. Croegaert has previously held internship positions with John Deere Commercial Products in Augusta, Georgia, and TIAA-CREF/Westchester, LLC in Champaign, Illinois.
Martin O’Connor is from Chicago, Illinois and is scheduled to graduate from the University of Illinois, College of ACES, with a degree in finance and a minor in international studies, in May 2015. Mr. O’Connor is fluent in Romanian and has studied abroad with a focus on food and culture. He is also a Chick Evans Scholarship award winner.
Both individuals have received a number of awards, honors, and scholarships and been involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities while at the University of Illinois.
